A Little About Me

I was a graduate student in astrophysics at The University of Minnesota. I worked under the direction of Dr. Evan Skillman as a member of the VLA-ANGST team which is a part of the larger ANGST project. We are using the VLA to study the HI gas in 35 nearby, dwarf galaxies. Each galaxy was observed in three different array configurations (B, C, and D) to give us an angular resolution of ~6". The survey paper has been submitted. Early science results on the relationship between large holes in the HI distribution and the underlying stellar distribution can be found here.
