Graduate Student
Department of Astronomy
University of Minnesota
I am a graduate student the University of Minnesota in the Astronomy Deptartment. My current research is to reduce Hubble data of IRC+10420 and compare different epochs. The goal is to find information about the expansion of the ejecta from this late stage yellow hypergiant. My advisor is Dr. Roberta Humphreys.
I am currently finished with classes and teaching Astro 1001 labs as well as doing research. I presented a poster at the AAS meeting in Pasadena, June 2009. See the abstract here. I am Head TA for the 2009-2010 school year and was a lecturer for a summer session of Astro 1001.
I attended Wellesley College, in Massachusetts, for undergrad. I have a B.A. in Astrophysics with a minor in Computer Science.
