Education and Public Outreach

One of my primary activities is teaching a variety of classes at the University of Minnesota. For instance, in the Fall of 2008 I was the faculty facilitator for a vareity of Freshman Seminars exploring topics from Mars exploration and the search for life in an astrobiological context, to "cosmic catastrophies" and the evolution of the biosphere we call Earth. In the Spring of 2009, I will be the instructor of a section of Introductory Astronomy.
